Melbourne, Australia – 5 February 2025: Mediaproxy, the global standard for software-based IP compliance monitoring and multiviewing solutions, has appointed systems developer and media technology consultancy netorium as its partner in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company represents a range of leading media technology manufacturers and uses these systems as the core of its production and distribution installations.

LogServer and Monwall, Mediaproxy’s compliance monitoring system and multiviewer, will now provide the high-quality logging and analysis components that had been missing so far. Mediaproxy joins major broadcast solution providers, including LiveU, SDVI, Jünger Audio and Harmonic, as part of netorium’s partner network. It will also feature in the German company’s custom IT and media services. These include the Media Supply Chain and Playout and Distribution, Mobile Journalism and Remote Production Platforms.

Founded by Frank Herrmann and Peter Frantz in 2002, netorium develops bespoke playout, storage, streaming and workflow systems for public and private television broadcasters, as well as other media creation organizations, in the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region. With a staff of around 40 and offices in Wiesbaden, Cologne, Hamburg and Munich, netorium bases projects on the products of its partner manufacturers, working with clients to produce an effective, overall and future-proofed result based on individual requirements.

“We are focused on digital transformation to produce on-premises, in-cloud and hybrid solutions for media creators facing technological changes along their value chain,” comments netorium chief executive Frank Herrmann. “This involves a variety of technologies, including Video over IP, audio, transcoding, automation, quality management (QM), distribution and archiving. Compliance monitoring and analysis in a modern software-based format is the missing puzzle piece for hybrid linear and streaming distribution. Mediaproxy provides that and extends our portfolio with LogServer and the Monwall multiviewer. We will benefit immensely from its experience in this area to build cost-effective systems that address the increasing complexity in content distribution and logging.”

Mediaproxy chief executive Erik Otto adds, “We are very confident to partner with netorium, a leader and innovator in digital broadcasting and a major player in the DACH countries as both a distributor and an integrator. Mediaproxy’s compliance and monitoring systems, LogServer and Monwall, fit in perfectly with netorium’s established partner network and we look forward to working with them and being part of forthcoming installations.”
